Below is the legal proceedings timeline of the lawsuit filed by individuals against Rider University on June 20, 2017.

The Coalition To Save Westminster Choir College in Princeton, Inc. is  NOT  a plaintiff on the lawsuit.

The seven (7) Student and Parent Plaintiffs are represented by Eric Vaughn-Flam, Esq.

The two (2) Alumni and two (2) WCC supporters are represented by Bruce Afran, Esq.

Bruce Afran does  NOT  represent the Coalition To Save Westminster Choir College In Princeton, Inc.

 

TIMELINE

Yesterday, October 16, Rider University filed their 2nd Motion To Dismiss the second Amended Complaint. Unlike Rider University’s first amended complaint, challenging jurisdiction because we filed in Federal Court – Southern District in New York City, Rider is no longer challenging jurisdiction. Student and Parent Plaintiffs consider this a victory concerning Rider’s jurisdictional challenge.

September 25, 2017 – Second Amended Complaint Is Filed.

In addition to alleging violation of the 1991 Merger Agreement, the second amended complaint includes anticipatory breach, financial damages to plaintiffs for deceptive practices and fraudulent acts committed by Rider University.

August 25, 2017 – Initial Conference at Federal Court in NYC is rescheduled to September 13, 2:15pm.

MEMO ENDORSEMENT on LETTER [31] granting [30] Letter Motion to Adjourn Conference.
